Dementia-Friendly Concerts: Josie Duncan & Owen Sinclair
Featured Category • 43m
This #WorldAlzheimersMonth we’re supporting #SongsforDementia – Playlist for Life’s campaign focusing on the ‘me’ in dementia through the use of personalised playlists unique to the soundtrack of someone’s life.
Please join us each week, over the month of September, as we release a new dementia friendly concert recorded at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall earlier this year.
Our first concert is performed by Josie Duncan and Owen Sinclair. Josie Duncan and Owen Sinclair are a diverse folk-song duo made up of two voices, guitar and clarsach. From opposite corners of the North of Scotland, the pair bring their own flare to traditional songs with vocal harmonies and story-telling arrangements exploring Gaelic, Scots and traditions from the world round.
